Rent a Rod ?

#1 Post by JPA »

Hi all,

I'm returning to Ireland next month... unfortunately, only for one week, only as a tourist, and even worse, without a rod

So I was wondering if anybody knows if there are any tackle shops or other places (B&B, Hotels, ... any recommendations welcome !) where I could hire a rod+reel+tripod, just for a few hours of shore angling ? We're heading for West Cork.

Cheers

We do rod-reel-tripod etc hire here at Beara Angling Supplies based at Dromagolwane House, Adrigole on the Beara Peninsula for a modest fee or for guests it is free of charge as is the guiding. For further info check out www.dromagowlanehouse.com and www.bearaseafishing.com
Hope this is some help to you.
Live out on the beautiful Beara Peninsula. Always willing to assist visiting anglers.

Thanks Paul. That's what I need. The guiding is a welcomed bonus, as my current knowledge is limited to the East Coast. I even know where to stay now !
