youghal harbour 26th feb

Duration:3 hrs

Tide:high

Weather:calm

Bait:crab

Rigs:wishbones

Results:3 codling




Report:took advantage of the clear spell last night and headed out for few casts over the top of the tide.it was very quiet only 3 bites resulting in 3 small codling for my few hours but it was a nice night to be out in it

Good to see them still about, still a few good ones showing on the weed free beaches in Waterford too.

Well done for getting a few - I am surprised the codling are still about with all the fresh water pouring down the Blackwater!!!!
Cod season Winter 2013/14: 117 cod (best fish: 6.5 lbs)

Was in Ballyctton last sunday and John Cork had 2 which were the first two ive seen there since late last year

@Al and Jordan, at least the fishfingers keep the rods nodding.
