People: Me and my 7yr old
Duration: 11:00 - 17:00
Tide: Up and Down. Extremely rough on the up.
Weather: Sunny
Bait: Black Lug, Mac's and fresh lug
Rigs: 2 and 3 hook flappers, clipped down
Results: 14 fish (all small): Coalies, Codlings, Whithing and a 3 bearded Rockling
Report: A brilliant day on the beach with surprisingly good weather and nice fishing. The tide was extremely rough coming in and produced only 1 fish for us, the weed was getting the better of us and I couldn't hold bottom with 170gr. The entire beach was flooded. After relocating twice we finally hit the fish which put a smile on the wee mans face. Eventhough all small the coalies were hitting the bait hard and with a strong current it was hard enough for a 7 year old to land them. So a very pleasant day which will be repeated, thanks to the guy (sorry don't know your name) that left me some fresh lug when he left and to Alby for directions and advise. Also nice to see an old familiar face appearing on the beach when the tide was dropping (that's local knowledge for ya ... hahaha).

Re: Killiney 4/1
Unfortunately we had to go around 5-ish, we still had a good hours drive ahead of us. Nice spot to fish and certainly good to wet a line again.
And Sugarlumps thanks again ... hope I can return the favour some day, nice meeting you.
