The cove with the slip on the Tramore side of Bunmahon is called Knockmahon, Ballydwan is nearer Stradbally, I have fished both of theses coves in the past with good results but with current weather conditions I wouldn't be too hopeful.

Re: Ballydwan????
Knockmahon cove is called Dwan cove because the Dwan family live at the top of the lane
i fished there 20 years for mackeral and had bag fulls
and had a few bass from there at different times
Knockmahon fished it twice and blanked but i was told by a few chaps plugging from the rocks is not to bad for bass and pollack

Re: Ballydwan????
I fish there a lot. Got bass, codling, whiting, conger, Huss, doggies and flounder. With the weather being so bad and big swell predicted it will be full of weed and hard to hold bottom. I have got bass in daylight but in winter I'd wait till after dark for codling and whiting.
