Anyone know what the white stuff is they are selling their worms in?
its not polystyrene - mad sort of caked crumbs

maybe it is vermiculite - but it was so uniformly white and the same sized grains
rag in it alright

Might be stuff called pearlite. It is used in the same way as vermiculite as an insulator. i have used it in the past to keep rag in. It is pure white and smaller particles than vermiculite.
