People:
Me

Time:
22:30 - 03:00

Tide :
Low, on the flood

Weather :
coldish, clear

Bait :
Frozen black lug, squid,

Rigs :
3 hook flapper, pulley

Results :
Dabs, flounder, Whiting, 1 dog

Report:
Took advantage of a weather break for a quick flatfish session on the low tide last Saturday. The beach was absolutely deserted.

I thought the black lug would do the trick and I had a few frozen squid to compliment it. The dabs and flounder gobbled it up on most casts. I changed to a pulley with a 4/0 as the water flooded to see if there was anything bigger about but the flats still took it.

There was zero weed and not too many crabs; the pin whiting are starting to make their appearance though :x
