youghal harbour 8th/9th/november

People:me

Duration:2x2 hour sessions

Tide:1st session over high water and 2nd over low water

Weather:cold settled

Bait:crab

Rigs:flaps and pulleys

Results:1st session cod and dogs 2nd session cod and coalis




Report:1st session fishing was slow enough couple of dogs and 1 ok cod 2nd session was insane 3 fish most casts only 3 big enough for the pan

Great fishing john, thanks again for the crab they were perfect and caught us a good few, well done john

Well done John.
By the way your crabs worked a treat on Saturday and Sunday nights (19 cod over the two nights up to 5.5 lbs).
Cod season Winter 2013/14: 117 cod (best fish: 6.5 lbs)
Cod season Winter 2014/15: 193 cod (best fish: 4.25 lbs)

you can catch cod to about 6lb in youghal harbour easiest fishing spots are green park,deep water quay,ferry point

are they normal or peeler crab that u use for youghal
Always CAR! unless its a pollock...!

2012 species: Pollock, Mack, Coalfish, Gurnard, Bullhuss, Dogfish and Wrasse.
Would do anything for a bass!
