Came across members of keel angling club before on inch beach which would be close enough to Dingle, don't have any contact details and it was a maybe 4 or 5 years back when we met them but might be worth a nosy

Tralee Bay SAC would be a good start, plenty of good anglers. They fish all around the area.

No I don't think there is anymore, there was years and years ago a fishing and hunting club but that's long gone (mid sixties I think)! There's a club below the hill which would be the closest I'd say
A bad days fishing is still better then a good day at the office.

Ha sorry thought you were local, below the hill is the the other side of the conor pass valley, Cloghane, Brandon, Camp, Castlegregory etc. The only club I know of down there is the Castlegregory golf and fishing club, which has very little to do with fishing! I think that there is one in Brandon but I don't know the name of it so maybe someone could fill in the blanks there?

No club in dingle... You have the owenmore river which is a salmon and sea trout river no actual club there... I am a regular visitor to the dingle peninsula and I can't think of any sea angling club, Tralee bay is the only club in the area...

The keel anglers are very much a local group of anglers, I don't ever see any publications or actual timetable of comps etc... Maybe somebody can correct me on this?

Even tho there is no club in dingle go to cappaclogh or ventry on Saturday and you will see the beaches covered in anglers as the irish Dawia pairs is being held on the peninsula all next week...
I'd rather be fishing..

2013 : Bass, Flounder, rockling, rainbow, sea trout, sliver eel, flounder, plaice, brown trout, pike, conger, salmon, sea trout, mackerel, pollack, undulate"first".

2012 : Salmon, Sea Trout, Thornback, Ling, Pollack, Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Cod, Bass, Dog fish, Sole "From derrymore!", Pike, Roach, Dab, Turbot, Brown Trout.
