wats the best way to present makeral on the hook when fishing for tope.????whole mackeral big or small or fillets???

I use a mackerel flapper myself and it seems to work well

coalfish,plaice,dab flounder,turbot,sea trout,thornback ray,pollock,ling,mackeral

Half a flounder can often work well too, depending on the mark. I know people reckon it works better than flappers in certain spots.
