Mack attack'
Took a trip out to Balscadden this evening. First thing I saw as I arrived was big seal cruising in front of cliffs. I hadn't fished there in years ( place filthy b.t.w. ) Anyway few macks comin in . Threw out a few casts and eventually felt bang bang bang, great I says ''three on''. Start reeling in from cliff top..... wallop rod bends in half
! I inch forward and have a look down , just to see big shadow of seal chompin' on me last mack.
lol. I got the remaining 2 up the cliff face... but I reckon he was the biggest thing I goin to get on a mackrel trace this year
!

Haven't tried it yet, was using older rod for the rocks. Might try hitting the sand somewhere over the weekend if I can.

I always seem to have bad luck with seals, nice bass taken once and a fish that was to save be from the dreaded blank.
