Re: Dalkey/Killiney rock fishing
you can get to that spot but you have to climb over a fence its a little bit difficult. you used to be able to get access from a gate beside one of the end houses but it was locked the last time I checked. its a good spot for wrasse and Pollock. the back of the east harbour can be good for Pollock and mackerel and the back of the west at the second elbow is alright for mackerel. you could also try whiterock for launce and mackerel and bass if your lucky.

Re: Dalkey/Killiney rock fishing
Dillan Park is great for Mackerel, either side of hightide. The only thing is that it's packed during the summer and could put you off for life. At low tide you can walk around to the right, past the fence and get some really nice pollock. It's worth float fishing in that same spot for wrasse and pollock. It's quite snaggy though. And never fish Colliemore. Get yourself a pair of waders and spin for Sea Bass on Killiney beach.

Think i found a new love for spinning lads, i bought a nice spinning rod last week and was dying to try it out, and i'm glad to say i christened it with a few pollock, was down dalkey rocks sor 2 hours and landed a few pollock on a nice shiny metal mac/bass type spinner.
Sucess! thanks for your advice lads. was glad to get out on such a nice evening.
