Shore/Spinning Marks around Strangford lough

lads,

just moved up to comber around strangford lough for work. gonnna be up here a few nights a week and was wondering if there are any decent areas for both bait fishing and lure. had a drive aorund the last few nights but the area is so big. not looking for any of your secret areas , just a broad kick in the right direction.

any info is much appreciated.

Hi.. if you park at the retirement home east of Portaferry and walk round the shore to the mouth of the harbour you can catch coalies from the rocks on feathers or spinners. (there is a rock platform that you will see and realise it's the one. ) Dogfish and bullhuss on bottom just out of the main run of current. Coalies can shoal there but they aren't big but can be taken in numbers.I just spent time exploring round there and always had a bit of luck. I have also had codling and eels either side of portaferry.
