Dublin Mackerel Fishing

Hi All,

Any tips as to when and where to fish dublin for mackies.
Also, just joined so cant view reports but hows dunlaoighre fishing these days?

OK gonna try dun laoighre this weekend, 1 rod feathers, 1 for floating

Guess you mean Ringsend fishing is better 8) but not for Mackerel not many being caught, only saw 1 being taken on a lure week or two ago
Species 2012: Flounder, Whiting, Dublin Bay Codling, Coalie, 3 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Bass, Dogfish, 5.2lb Starry Smoothhound (PB), Twaite Shad, Thornback Ray 5.8lbs (PB), LSD, Pollock, Ballan Wrasse, Cork Wing Wrasse, 43cm Flounder (PB)

Species 2013: Coalie, East Coast Codling, Smoothounds, And hopefully a back opp to get back fishing soon...

theres very few mackeral in ringsend or dunlaoghaire few around if your out in a boat

i was out on boat last week and was watching guys at the light house on the rocks getting more than 1 there is a lot luck been at the right time I also just heard their is a few been caught on the west pier on DL I need some this week myself and not sure where to go so if you hear anything it be great :wink:
