Beach Advice
I normaly fish harbours and safe rocks due to my 8 year old tagging along who is an avid fisherman. He's been at me to go beach fishing for a while and it's been an age since I did so. Used to head down to Greystones and Kilcoole direction. If anyone could give me some advice on where might produce on a mid day high tide I'd be gratefull. He'd be happy with anything at any size. Based in Drogheda so don't want to be heading too far south. PM's welcome.

Re: Beach Advice
go down to port beach and save yourself a pile of fuel
youll get some flounder there and its really shallow and safe

Re: Beach Advice
Clogherhead beach is probably the best shout at the minute, you will have a little more surf there then on any of the others that corby has mentioned, they are all great spots but without a little bit of surf it will be a fairly slow day, the beach in clogherhead will throw up plenty of flounder and dabs with rag and mack on size 2/4's. you might even get a few schoolies if your lucky!

Re: Beach Advice
Thanks for the replies and advice lads. Will give the Louth beaches a go another day, but have to head to Dublin to pick up the Dad to go with us, so i'll try a Wicklow beach tomorrow.
