spigot trouble

The female part of my spigot has a long tear in it.it has be gettin larger through out time and while fishing yesterday I noticed that I might not get to many more sessions.so is there anything I can do with this

whip it with a couple of lairs of eye whipping thread and coat in in a high build gloss :wink:

you can get a two pack high build epoxy resin that will do the job sets rock hard over a short amount of time, if you cant get it any good varnish would be better than nothing a few coats should do the trick :wink:
