metal man tramore

any one know if i can get to the metal man and climb down to fish as the guillamene is packed with swimmers
what will i catch there spinning or a lure

Hi Varedero,

Tomcat is right it is a bit too risky in my humble opinion. if you have a car it might be better to make your way to Dunbrattin head in Boatstrand just past Annestown, or get out to Brownstown head on the opposite side of Tramore bay. Try high water in the evening times for the mackerel, or just before dark for the pollock with spinners or better still weedless soft plastics to let you get right down to the weed without loosing gear.
