Tides are not great for this weekend. I would save your petrol to be honest. Its also very calm and bright so if you are going to go then fish at dawn and dusk to give yourself some chance.

Anyway, its a typical estuary mark. I have fished it with bait and caught bass over high water at night. I have also plugged it early hours before sunrise on low water and caught bass. Its one of those spot when a bass can turn up at any time really. We have caugh em on the rise and falling tide.

You'll get Flounder and Bass but it will be tough at this time of year. As mentioned above, it's an estuary so there could be an awful lot of algae down there with all this sunshine. I'd chance the beach from dusk into night, but I'm based in Dublin and at this time of year I wouldn't bother going down that far. Try the more northerly beaches that are out of the way of holiday makers. Most Wexford beaches are packed in this sunshine.
