Heading down to Slade Co.Wexford this Sunday to try for pollock and wrasse. Never fished here before. Has anybody got advice on tides , marks , etc. I know Hook Head would probaly be better but would it be too dangerous to bring two children fishing
thanks.

From slade harbour go through the fields, over two fences and 50 yards after the second fence there is a nice platform with deep water called the black channel plenty of decent wrasse, Pollack and maybe a few strap conger! Try on the drop to low as the platform floods a bit on high. Best of luck!!!
