Buncrana pier?

[*]hi guys new to the forum. I'm looking to do alot of fishing this summer in Donegal this summer, I have heard reports that it's fishing good at the min. Is this true? I'm going to try buncrana pier this week, any tips on fishing this mark? Tides times etc? Will prob be fishing with rag and mackerel and squid. I was wondering if there would be any point in launching out a large bait to target something big like tope or spur dog?
