Peeler crab
Iv always been an angler who collected majority of my own bait avoiding purchasing bait when possible the exception to this rule is with peeler which I have nearly alway bought bar some collecting during the summer months. This year I hope to collect use and freeze my own. Can anyone tell me when roughly the first molt of spring would be. Basically when I can start collecting from. I'm I'm the Dublin region. Cheers in advance everyone
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

Re: Peeler crab
The start of the crab peel varies every year ,it all depends on the weather and water temp, a prolonged cold spell can delay the peel by a few weeks.
