7ht Mag / low back bar,, the reel foot is next to get the Cast Monkey treatment... 8)

Cut orig bar out, blend/grind the sides back flush, fit new contoured bar and paint,,
had it out for a test and feels just as solid and cage didnt splay at all, and feels really comfy, compared to standard cage all measurements are still the same..

why do it in the first place mate? does it make it easier to grip the spool?

Yeah makes a big diff.. Once I do the reel foot it will be lower again...
I tried a few QTC cages but TBH they didnt work out so said Id sort it myself..
