Newbie asking a stupid question?!

#1 Post by boouk »

Hi all, I'm new to this and trying to find my feet and the fish still. On the way to kinsale you cross the river/estuary at belgooly, is this fishable? What is charlesfort like near kinsale as I heard someone mention it at work?
Cheers for the help and advice in advance.

Check out West Cork & District SAC they have members who know the area very well and are a great local club close to you. It would be the best few euro you'll ever spends to join up and fish with top anglers who will help you out!

They are on Facebook too.

As kstaff said, you should consider joining a club. You will learn a lot from the other anglers and get a lot of info passed on that you might not find online.
"The Westies" are based in kinsale but fish both east and west cork and have some of the countries top anglers so you would be learning from the best.
Send me a pm with your number if have any interest in joining and i can give you a ring.
Denis.
