Shannon Estuary
Has anybody fished the estuary this winter???? Its closest to me so any news would be appreciated....
Always CAR! unless its a pollock...!
2012 species: Pollock, Mack, Coalfish, Gurnard, Bullhuss, Dogfish and Wrasse.
Would do anything for a bass!

Fished foynes about six weeks ago with only one ray turning up. Very few bites but beat the blank! Would be interested to hear if anyone has been out!

Thanks guys, much appreciated. seems to be very little action around at the mo but would like to try foynes as it is only out the road

normally I'd fish these locations only with all the rain recently I didn't bother wasting time and diesel just to find out that its only the usual hoards of crabs appreciate my expensive offerings gratefully
and after having blanked on numerous spots around the Estuary since last autumn I gave up on finding out what I knew already. Sorry to be of no help, just want to paint a pic of my experiences lately.
