hi, i have a silva l1 headlight and it doesnt seem to be making a good connection where the wire enters the button control box, has anyone here tried opening one? and if not anyone know where it can be fixed as i cant afford a new one,it just keeps flickering on and off,not good for night fishing, thank you in advance, james.

The Silva 1, have given problems from the start. I got a pair when they came out first many years ago and had button problems and draining battery's when not in use. I have recently bought a pair of Cree headlights which are very bright and probably the brightest on the beach at 1600 lumens. They wont break the bank either at around €30 delivered. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CREE-XML-T6-L ... 2ec315c43d.
Kstaff has always been the new black in my eyes anyway!!!!!!!

Indomitable spirit - never giving up or wanting to give up.
