Happened to me piece of s*** lights have it held together wit elastic bands.
Bought a cheapo from hong kong on ebay better quality light

yea, glued it a few times and used the good old elastic bands aswell

good light in the sense that the connections and wires have held great for the last 3 years - just that battery case is flimsy
