bangor pier 8-11-05

#1 Post by Davy Murdoch »

People:me and ronald

Duration:3hrs

Tide:dropping

Weather:cloudy and cold

Bait:squid,herring

Rigs:simple

Results:4 shore rockling and 2 tadpole fish

Report:not a very good night for quantity of fish but it was very good for unusual species.the big 3 bearded rockling seem to have moved on and the shore rockling moved in but it could be just that we fished a dropping tide instead of a filling.not many fish about compared to last week but a least we didn`t blank.Ronald had the most fish with the 4 shores but i had the most interesting with the 2 tadpole fish, one of 4.5oz and a big one of 12oz which really made my night.thats the third of these i`ve caught(ronald`s also had three, but mine are bigger   ) and all at bangor pier.very odd looking fish! :) all in all it was a crap night made good by the tadpole fish.i`ll put some photos on my personal gallery
