Re: rate your rods
Well im a man on a tight budget and budget rods is what ive got but they do the job for me and i can cast a 4oz lead baited 120yrds. But not using any fancy gear i rate mine a 6 .........been that my two beachcasters together with reels came to €75 im happy enough......ye cant beat Woodies DIY

Catches for 2012: Pollock, Mackerel, Dogfish, Sea Trout, Ballen Wrasse

Re: rate your rods
Daiwa meanstreak multi -6 great for mixed ground and retains good bite detection.
greys grxs multi -5 good clean to mixed ground rod . finish and real seat let the rod down but otherwise a decent rod for the money
