smoothhounds
I picked up my first Smoothhound at on Tuesday on a mark not known for them.He was by no means a monster ( about the same as an average doggie) but my god what a stunning looking fish and a pleasure to see.As he was small I was wondering was this just a once off ,do the mature fish move to spawn and this fella just hadn't moved on yet or would there be a chance of catching them here again ?

Re: smoothhounds
they turn up whenever they please
however peeling crabs seem to be the Xfactor
if you got one chances are their are more about ,try the same spot on a big tide as these seem to bring the bigger lads in
