found 2 sets of lobster strings.
I went out this morning and tonight to get my bass fix but to no avail but I did find 2 lobster pot strings at two different marks around kinsale.Would anyone know who I could contact to try get these guys there gear back ? Each string contained 6-8 pots and 100's of feet of rope.I cant imagen this stuff being cheap.

Don't worry Ric inshore potters are fairly used to the weather making sh1t of their gear and will hunt for the pots themselves I would say. There is about 8 boats at it from Kinsale and hardly any lobsters, its about time they gave it a rest anyway. Other than that look for any numbers on the marker bhoys and go down the pier and look for the corresponding boat.

Ya its true there is alot of them out.Its like an obstacle course when your out in the same boat.I was down trying for a few bass again with no luck this evening and the sting was still there so I fixed it up as much as I could and Ill let the lads down at the boats know where it is.A shame I didnt find them sooner some of the pots had some good crab in them.Bass Dad wrote:Don't worry Ric inshore potters are fairly used to the weather making sh1t of their gear and will hunt for the pots themselves I would say.
