carlingford tope?

was gona go after a shore tope this year and was looking some info on were i could possibly get one around carlingford cheers

I've never heard of anyone getting one from the shore although it should be possible. The best area in the lough is the Hoskyns channel and that's one hell of a cast from shore. In fact, since they started dragging Dundalk Bay for razor fish, the number of tope has dropped dramatically so it's not much of a fishery any more.

Try greenore an our hour either side of low water ,I had a run a few years ago from a tope I think :shock:
