i have the 6oz 16ft one but im just wondering if anyone has tried the new 14ft 4oz one with the new match tip?

no there is a 14ft, version of the triplex aswell mate.

I got a look at the 3 new rods in the greys stable a couple of weeks ago.The platinum has awesome power(more than the apollo and Nitro) but is as light as a feather.The greyflex is similar to the Orion in both weight and performance .The new 14ft Triplex is designed to fish leads from 1oz to 4oz but still has the power to put the lead a long way out.Would be similar to a 14ft PZ match.
I thought about the one that got away and it did

nice to hear that a 1-4oz. long rod has been made. it's about time. heard the platinum is a good rough ground rod.
