Hoop net lobster fishing

Lads is this legal for kayak anglers ........anybody??
Anyone know anything about it...where to buy them,,,do u need licences ...etc...

I don't think there would be a problem with this. You'd need to be very patient. I don't think Lobsters are active enough for hoop net fishing. I've done this several times for Cray fish, but we wait 15 mins (aka small tin of Beer) between lifts. You could try it out, but I think you need a bottom type pot with more soakage time to give the Lobster a chance to find the bait.

Thanks Kevin...better get a tray of beer so..to make use of the soak age time
