Re: Kerry
Hi Seamus
This might be a bit too far for you but if/when you get a chance to fish it then don’t hesitate to grab at it, don’t know if you have read any of the reports that Paul Harris from the Beara Peninsula put up on here but if you go to the link below it will fill you in a little,
If you are thinking of going down give him a bell or PM him and he will let you know the full story on where to go and whats around at the moment, ask him to sort you some bait and it will be there waiting for you,
It’s a fair old drive but the views are wicked, I was driving back from there in the dark on Christmas day and I seen one of them signs saying “BEWARE DEER CROSSING” and I thought “Deer my asp they would say anything to keep the tourist happy”
But as I rounded a bend my headlights picked up two big shiny eyes
so I slapped on the anchors to let it and all his mates get across, while this wasn’t the highlight of my 2 days there it really did stick in my mind… so be careful driving in the area,
There’s some big asp Bullhuss to be had and Paul will put you on to a few marks for what ever else is around at the moment
