Heavy duty Spinning reel Fast!!!

Hi all,

Sorry i think its in the wrong forum but anyways.....

Just booked a last minute holiday Going Cabo, Mexico for a holiday on friday and the wife is going to take the kids out at night so i can do a spot of fishing
Will also do Morning and daytime if i get a chance as i am staying at a private beach with rocks to the side that look like
Excellent Cuda, Crevalle etc ground

Anyways i've read reviews and everything and i badly badly BADLY need a Heavy duty spinning reel 5000/6000/7000

Can anyone reccomend one

hi man. the penn slammer 760 is a good heavy fs reel that can deal with most anything. i used one in norway last year and it was bulletproof. you can pick them up new for around £90 which for that price can't be beaten. i was so impressed with the way it performed in norway that i'm in the process of buying another 2 for this year :wink: :D

The was a clip on Youtube (I think it mayvbe gone) showing a guy "playing" a 100lbs plus blue shark on a Stradic FJ 8000. The video has something like <stradic product testing> in its title.
