I need to replace the Fuji seat on a Conoflex blank I made over 35 years ago !
The tubular Fuji seat was glued on using epoxy ( Araldite).
The butt is fibre-glass.
What is the best method of removing the said reel-seat ?
Any advice, greatly appreciated.

Re: Fuji-seat Replacement
A good sharp stanly blade on the plastic and a junior hack saw on the steel bands just take your time don't go as deep as the blank and it should crack open and peal off

Re: Fuji-seat Replacement
you can also use a hairdryer to heat 'n' melt the epoxy then slowly work the seat out
