Codling in river ?

Well , anyone from waterford get any codling from the river yet ,heard conditions were shaping up for a good season. Whats your favourite mark along it . personally i go behind balinakill downs down the path nice bit of flat ground

tried for em but the gale force winds and the heavy grippers floating down the river made for a quick retreat!

Hi towners fished by the great island powerstation last week and yes there are a few codling showing, lots of small ones but then its a bit on they early side yet.

Some very nice fish been taken at Ballnakill in the last week 2 pound plus all taken on lug and crab
