I have been trying to locate the Gunwell with not much success, can someone post a google maps or GPS link to the exact position.

Thnaks lads, Yep the Donegal one, I have looked at the "NRFB Sea Angling Web" map but couldn't find the Gunwell when I was up there last year, i dont think it's detailed enough as there is loads of little roads around the area. GPS or Google location would be the best for me.

Turn left just before the bridge coming into killybes from Donegal town. Drive over the narrow bridge and out along the bay keeping the port on your right. When the road turns in land there is a junction take a right here and head down to a small harbour. Take the only left and park at the end of the road. Walk up over the hill ( travel light). You'll see the fishing spot there is a flat field facing back to the port. Fish anywhere round here. It can be a great spot especially for kids as it's safe. Hope this helps.
