Rod Storage

#1 Post by Creep »

Hey lads I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for rod storage, I'm looking for ideas regarding ceiling hooks or something in that lines, Rods I have are sea spinning rods, Boat rods, Pier rods, and Beach Casters, (so ranging to a couple of feet when broken down to 4-5 foot lenghts for some of the beach casters) I was hoping to put them out of reach of the kids as I dont want broken tips etc, I want to store them onto the garage ceiling out of the way, and Irelized I am begining to get a collection of rods (and nope they arent for sale as each has its use, sorry)

woodies do utility hooks in various sizes which are great and have various spans . The company that supplies them is headbourne, not sure if theyre online. Woodies own brand tactix also do a similar range. Expect to pay between 7 and 16 euro depending on size

kev just put up some battons at either side of the garage and put lenghts of wood across them 1 top and 1 bottom for the long rods and maybe 2 in the middle for boat/pier this way you will be able to slide the rods in and out easy and they will be out of reach of the nippers

I screwed a series of gutter brackets onto the walls and used them to store them safely, 3 beacasters in bags will fit on each and 2 brackets are enough for each set of rods.
