digging bait south Dublin?

#1 Post by finding nemo »

Has anyone any good spots to dig some lug around south Dublin?
I was down in Blackrock last week but they were thin on the ground.
Got about 60 in two hours.
I heard they go deeper down with the cold weather. is that the case?
Only been out twice so very new to it. Any good spots or tips would be great.
Shankil maybe i seen guys dig there before.

Cheers,

YA MATE THEY GO DEEPER IN THE WINTER AS FOR SHANKILL I HAVE NEVER HARD OF ANYBODY GETING LUG OUT THERE BUT SANDYMOUNT IS FULL OF THEM GO DOWN BY THE E.S,B CHIMMLEYS AND PARK UP AND OUT TO THE FIRST STREAM AND YOU SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM GET 100 OR SO WITH IN A HOUR BUT IF THEY ARE SMALL JUST MOVE A BIT UNTIL YOU FIND THE BIGGER ONES
