There is a rocky beach at Steedgah which is a horse shoe shape.
Very snaggy, but there are fish there have had dogs, conger, pollack etc there the other beach at Streedagh is much better.
That is the only beach I can think of which is close to a horse shoe shape, there is also a rocky horse shoe shape cove at Aughris Head. Not a great spot for fishing though and a hard climb down.
