casting on a steep beach

#1 Post by roger de dodger »

my last two sessions have been on steep beaches and man did i struggle  reverted to a simple overhead thump as no matter what i tried my  pendulum went out dead straight instead of going up and out if you get my drift ,i know i should have gone futher up the beach to a flat area but old dogs and new tricks  if your pig headed like me would the brighton cast get me extra yards ? was using pully rigs with gripper leads ?
