Probably a bit late in the season, but you never know with the current sea temps and mild weather??

hi great spots for flounder is lacken or the coal plus there will be coalies in this venuel as well. or the katstrand in wexford town
both venues are great for flounder up in the 40 to 45 cm both venues are pure crab spot no other bait will work.

ballyteigh/lacken or bannow bay some fine flounder to be had from either mark also katts strand in wexford will give up lots of fish but not to the size of the other marks but big enough for the pan and they seem to on the mark all year round

Re: Hunting for big flounders, any good spot?
Any Tips on Bannow Bay lads.... PM's Welcome. I've fished it a number of times from the upper bay near the bend and have had no luck. Is it fishing at the moment. I'm thinking of a trip down that way this weekend.
Cullenstown would be my normal haunt, but it's not fishing well this year due to the constant storms and rain water in the system. Having said that I haven't hit Cullenstown since November.
