Fish ID

Can someone positively ID this little fella for our Dan? Initial thoughts were female Dragonette but now not so sure...

Also, my thoughts initially, however the very small mouth is what's throwing me...

Looks like a dragonette but I've only ever caught the one so not entirely sure. It's deffo not a weever though.

female shanny man. 100%. we have literally caught hundreds of them at bangor. the body behind the head is too round for a dragonet and the eyes are not nearly big enough and the colours are all wrong. added to that it's missing the elongated spined first dorsal fin. on the dragonet the first dorsal is really short compared with the second dorsal in length along the back of the fish.
