Penn 525 mag 2 help please?
Just got a brand new Penn 525.was having a look at it there and when you take it off free spool and reel in it feels kind of heavy or stiff reeling for a few turns and then something click or shifts and it reels very easily and smoothly.just wondering if this is normal.

very same as mine mate - as said above just the gears locking back in. see once you cast it out and let it settle, put it back into gear and pull the line a little and it'll click back in then as opposed to when you start reeling in. dont worry though, as i realised soon after alot of my reels do this too.
