Mild weather and Mackerel

The last time we had a mild spell like this during the late 80s there was hundreds of mackerel caught from the rocks in Clare has anyone else memories of this.......

The Mac the Mac no not the mild weather I remember reading on the Clare Champion about a huge influx of macks being caught from Dunlicky one Christmas period it was the same time as a mild spell it was years ago
