Can anyone tell me best time and tide etc to try this mark? Haven't fished it before but reckon theres maybe a chance of whiting or codling? Pms welcome :wink:

3 hours up to high water and use lug. There's a lovely deep channel there behind rainbow rapids.

Handy oul mark to fish and plenty ofcodling on it usually. Lack of junkies also a bonus during the winter!!!

Thanks Alby, was down this morning in Killiney with nothing showing so fingers crossed. Is it night only and short casting? Thanks again.

Gave it a try for hour and half with the brother last night, had about ten whiting between us all about 20 cms. The brother lost what looked to be a flounder or pouting just at the rocks which was a bit better. Thanks again
