Dun Laoghaire - Conger?

Just wondering if anyone has ever tried dun laoghaire pier for congers? Would it be a complete waste of time???!

no not a waste of time.my fishing buddy ssaw a man land a 25lb conger on 20lb line :shock: duiring the summer mackerel period.
