Welcome to the lunatic asylum  .There are plenty of quality tackle shops around the place these days depending on where you are living. If theres a tackle shop nearby then why don't you pop in and have a nose around the place, even have a chat with the sales team about your needs im sure they could recommend you a good starter set up.Before you go on your search buy one of the sea magazines loads of adverts these days  ,that will give you an idea of how much things can cost.
If it were me id stick with my local tackle shop providing theres not a huge price differance on things as your local shop can offer advice for many years to come and if you become an avid angler you can be sure your local tackle shop will become your best friend. 8)
Don't be suprised if your local shop can't match or even better some prices
