where to get reflective tape??

hi lads can anyone telll me where i can buy this iv searched nearly ever tackle shop in dublin and some hardware shop aswell thanks

ebay is sometimes worth a shot. try veals for 'solas'. halfords in coolock might have some. if your stuck i can give u some.

ebay got some for rod tips and had enough to do box and end of rods so i dont stand on them in the dark. it was £1.99 for 2mtrs

most chandlers do it ,its used for life rings and rafts for boats ,you can get some with a honeycomb effect ,but the plain solas stuff is more flexible and easier to get onto your rod tips .

if you know anyone who fits it to the sides of police/garda cars or ambulances etc try them!the blue stands out brilliantly!!!not a good idea to walk up and try to peel it off the side of one though!! :wink: :lol:

You can get reflective tape from any sign manufacturers.
Try Rennicks in Mulhuddart (near Blanchardstown) or Flemings in Dunboyne. Let me know if you can't get any as I have a few contacts in the business & will organise some for you.

cheers lads pick a bit up taught it was way pricey though 10euro foa a metre :shock: :shock:

still a hell of a lot cheaper than buying it in the small packs like tony's sea match though!

Veals have it for £1.50 per strip. Check it out on the Veals website. P&P would be very cheap.

now as silly as it sounds, the place i got my reflective tape was a car accessories shop.. and the good thing it comes in TWO colours (red and white).. i originaly bought the tape for my bike and seeing how good it was decieded to put it on the tips of my rods... now i can see them from further away than any one elses rods who have rods with reflective tips...
