Are the big cod codding us
After last winters great sessions around youghal and beyond i really thought this season would show bigger fish but after been putting the hours in the last few weeks seems pretty much same size range codling as last year most between 1-5lb, of course theres always the odd exception as every year but anyone notice more bigger fish around
Species....good film.....I'll get my coat
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

Re: Are the big cod codding us
patience is a virtue
im planning on a 15lb plus fish in the coming weeks
and im not gonna be happy if he dont appear
im finding fish to be bigger this year than most other years have seen plenty fish from 5lb to 8.5lb landed already and have seen first hand 2 fish that were lost trying to land them that were easily 10lb plus

Us anglers on the blessed east coast use 1 to 5 lb'ers as bait
